How Long Should MLB Managers Have To Challenge A Play?

umpire-challengebarstoolsports.com

I hate the fact that managers can challenge plays in the MLB. It’s such a pain in the ass when a play is challenged and the umpires take fifteen minutes to review a play that could be decided upon in ten seconds. The game is already slow moving as it is and replay has just made it even slower. This new rule would make it so that managers would only have thirty seconds to decide if they want to challenge a play. This seems like a solid compromise for those of us who hate replay. Yes, we will still have to wait while it is being reviewed, but it eases the pain of the dreaded challenge.
